i carry your heart with me...forever

By E. E. Cummings 1894–1962
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
                                                      i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

I printed the poem into vellum and used gesso as background texture.
Happy accident on my heart shapes dimensional. Just because the paper is too thick and my punch cant get thru. I just love this photo with different emotion from my girls.

Thanks...

A little bird told me....

..........this is Love

* Finally I received my printer and so rushing to finish up CSI No.59

Here is my take and in fact my first layout for 2013. Its a bit messy and I'm so rushing to finish out before deadline.

Someone is hiding her journaling for her girls.....

I love all the little elements to complete this page. This is fun way to use my stash.

Your Smile Melts My Heart

I almost.... almost fail to complete this week case. Almost give up to let the creativity lead the page. But I'm glad I just continue and complete this page. One thing for sure, I want my girls to read me..my story and my heart. The design and colors are just a fun thing to do.

Take a sneak peek before full layout.....
Paper cutting deer....faux stitched. Melting heart attempt = craft glue + glitter + acrylic

Hidden journaling inside the vellum pocket. Little birdy admiring how happy we are.

Spot the altered alphabet?
Here is the full layout. Notice behind the vellum? It was suppose to be original design. But I mess up and overlap with vellum and working on top of it.

Thanks for visiting.....I hope you enjoy your stay. xoxo

Case 45 : My passion

I was going overboard when creating this week case, till the page finish I realised the color is no longer as above.Silly me....what am I thinking. But I'm happy with this week page. My voice is inside the journaling. I used inspiration word : comfort, family and home for my journal and inspiration for the page design.
The evidence :- silver metal on the door knob, lamp, vintage text.
Here's the page :-
You might no see here clearly, but I'm running out of "a" so I combine "o" and "i" to make "a" for word passion.
Open up my girl photo and you will see another 3 photos of my passion.....books, crafts and my studio.Love this idea for hiding more photos to add some fun and interactive layout.

Lately, I'm falling in love with scroll. Scattered scrolls on the floor to represent how I love to write a list. (yes I have a lot of lists....)

The door inspired by Benefits catalog, in fact I cut out the words Art Lovers Welcome from their page.

My journal tucked behind the photo. I labelled it ....

I love love love my first attempt to create something different from what I did. Of course it took a lot of time but I'm happy with it. Get out of norm.

Thanks for visiting. Thank you very much! Keep creating .......

Our fav Sunny day : CSI Challenge & Scrapfriends Sketch

  • Two tempting challenges, one limited time. Hence, I combined these 2 challenges into one layout. Often scrappers did this, and now it is my turn.
  • Wonderful Scrapfriends sketch

I just love the idea to make a scroll for my journal. Thanks to lovely Kay Fatula. Because of you, I now can journal as long as I want.

    • Title direct on photo (my fav thing to do and $ effective)
    • Some cluster hearts punch out
    • Mask misting
    • Fussy cutting
    • Simple layering and edging

    CSI : Case File 03

    3
    • I'm stuck with this case. It took me a few days before I manage to solve it.
    • It all started when I just color the scheme using pencil color into my memo pad. From there I just let the color sit and one night I remember I took a picture of Irees ,with pink dress and flowery hat. As usual I just add wording into the photo. I love wording photo
    • Next I just grab my pattern paper according color scheme and start jotting down what the CSI want for this case (refer above evidence & testimony)
    • While I'm working with the page (with Twilight OST background music – shh this is secret of my mojo) I try to cross one by one the evidence & testimony.
    • Though I can’t complete all the evidence & testimony but I think I get it close….
    • Without further ado, here is my take. A story about my little one ‘waiting with pleasure’, with a pack of Twisties, she running around the hotel lobby while waiting for daddy to check out. I just try to create scene to mimic her imagination as little kid.

    • I feel like watching UP

If you want more, here are some details :-
Circles element (balloons) + heart +   splatter of white acrylic + hand drawn

How about some window treatment with an owl + heart = I just love how these elements blend together.
    csi3g
The tag = leftover circles from my office punch + doily print (I just trace the edge) + stamp + fussy cutting pp
    csi3b
Combination of rub on + hand drawn into gold metallic element. Just because I’m running out of rub on.
    csi3f

    CSI : Case File 02

    2

When I saw the scene I knew Im going to be crazy bout the background but but but….I dont have the luxury called TIME. If I have a lot of spare time…

So here is my take….very simple page and a little bit naughty playing fool for this layout….trying to experiment things.

    • My current love affair with doily.
    • Obsession to use the acrylic before it dry out
    • Use my stash to max ( save $ for travel) wink wink
    • handmade foam stamp ( all those dots)

    TFL :D

    2 be me

Some of details ….messy details :P
