Sneak peek into my scrapbook. room. *sorry*

My name tag on cork by ikea , the tag I made a few years back to attend crop party at lss. Once a while I rotate the art/creation inside this studio.

I stored away most of my inspiration stuff and put a new stuff here. The space wont be empty too long in fact by now I have put a few photos to scrap. Now this board will act as my page planner.

My work in progress, now I have a space for WIP and it was nicely display. I like!
Can you believe it was freebies from the internet? I’ll share the info about my wip in next post.

I promised myself not to keep my pp too long, instead I put it here for display and for me to scrap. No more feeling guilty to cut these lovely pp. Most of it from Fancy Pants Love Birds line. Love the color and cute design. One layout from this line has been created and will post the lo later.

Mist…newly bought. Love the effect but a bit pricey. I tried it this morning and really love it….now I want more color *sigh*
 
Another indulgence, I really love bird stamp+punch by Martha Steward.
The Street Lace cb, wait for me…I have ton of ideas to play with you. Just hoping I have time to play.



The pink basket, a place to throw my stuff after scrapping. It wont look nice as this after I’m starting scrapping.

 
Lastly, my totally tote….I love this pink caddy so much. All of my tools are nicely kept here. Easy to scrap and easy to clean up.

Declutter

Fuh!

Sorting, rolling,cutting and clipping. That what I did since last night. Its because I cant stand anymore the clutter inside my studio. I started purge my ribbon and sort it nicely (nice in my own way).

Some I just leave it inside the roll and stand it using a chopstick, some I just roll into the ribbon organiser and put inside the basket. Seldom used ribbon I put inside the clear container.
I'm thinking how many days these ribbons will stay organised because I dont trust myself. Im messy and visual scrapper, I cant handle hidden stuff.

Later, when the studio a bit clean (50%) I just sit and stamp these image and start playing with
Copic Marker. 

 
Tomorrow I plan to wake up early (but now already 1.38am) and do some cleaning...but mmmmmm ....

Creative space.....

I spend the whole day at home yesterday. Its quite productive day I will say.
Between chores, kids, cooking and TV , I managed to slip in inside the studio and playing with felt & ribbon.

I made a lot of hairclips recently, hari raya is coming and give it as a gift would be sweet (I think). 

I settle up with WIP inside some container and thanks to LAURA (Bugs & Fishes) for her fab idea and blog.

I’m thinking about my work coming plan, we have to attend a lot of classes and course on weekend. Do they don’t have a family? Why they took our time with family? No more quality life? Oh I can’t think anymore it’ll spoil my mood.

I love weekend! Pls dont take it from me.... it will kill my creativity & quality !!!!

Im working infront of computer, whenever I get bored I love to google around, watching dvd especially twilight and listening to music.

Simply Ida

NSD is over…..can’t wait for another online crop.
I made total 15 layouts for this NSD. Personal record is yesterday when I make 12 layout within 5 ½ hours. I have to think fast and limit 30 minutes for each layout. With this formula I can do it again for next time. I called it “Simply  Ida” scrap formula. (haha)

1. photos (what story/expression you want to tell)
2. journaling
3. sketch
4. color combo
5. make a kits (choose pp & embellishment base on color combo, sketch & story to tell)
6. I keep inside 12x12 album until I ready to scrap.

My process during 2010 NSD ( I devoted one day for this)
List down challenge to do
Print photo
Choose color & sketch
And at night I sit down in front of TV and fill in the album with photo + pp + embellishment
Next day I just scrap whatever inside the folder one by one and limit myself 30 minutes each. Sometimes I made lo for 15minutes.
After finish the lo I snap the picture and keep the finish.
When all the lo’s finish I upload the pictures and begin to submit into the challenge site.
Now clean up the scraproom (which I didn’t because I need to working today…so my scraproom in a huge mess but I feel so satisfy with the result)

Ribbon storage

This is how I store my ribbons. I collect all of my ribbons and put into one place.

I sorted according colors and used plastic container to hold those ribbons. I keep this container inside my wire basket. When ever I need to use it, just pull the wire. I love to dig and find it.
